Hot on the trail of a rampaging werewolf, rookie monster hunter Cinna Rosales finds herself in the burgeoning village of Solaris. Quickly becoming enmeshed in the blossoming settlement, Cinna finds she is not the only one who’s been welcomed with open arms: the werewolf, Fleur Sulahn, has become not only a pillar of the community, but a mother to a young girl named Juniper.

With the ever-present looming danger of Fleur’s monstrous nature versus the community’s fragile dependence on her as their protector, Cinna finds herself torn. If she slays her target, Solaris will be left defenseless and Juniper motherless. But should she not, she runs the risk of the werewolf repeating the same carnage that led her on this mission in the first place… And that’s not to mention Fleur’s growing obsession with the heroic young hunter.

Now stuck between a hard mission or a soft bed, Cinna finds herself split: should she root out the wolf amongst the sheep, or succumb to its jaws?
